We got to go with the Blacks to Palm Springs over Dan's spring break. We weren't sure how Nora would do with the drive, so we planned on going to St. George, spend the night, and go on. She was awesome! On our way down to St. George we stopped in Beaver and got our little one's picture in the giant chair. She looked like was a 5 lbs baby again! She was always happy to have a break from her carseat!
The weather in Palm Springs was AMAZING!!! As soon as we got there we changed into our summer clothes and were ready to hang out in the sun! I was so excited to have Nora in her cute little summer outfits.
Dan had to do lots of work on his research paper, so Nora and I spent lots of time by the pool. We went for a 4 mile walk around the golf course and hotel complex every morning. It was so nice to be able to be outside and in good weather.
We let Nora sit on the grass for the first time. She didn't mind it at all. She just wanted to pull all the little blades out and play with them. We had Nora in our room, so it was hard to be quiet when we got silly. But we watched some movies and had some silly moments.
Nora absolutely LOVED the pool. The first few times we put her face in the water she laughed so hard! It was a quiet trip but we loved having time with some of the family. It was sad to leave!!
